Details of Service: Awaiting further information. Albert Schuh was promoted to Lance Corporal in the latter part of 1916. He was subsequently transferred to the 148th Battalion. In order to proceed to France Schuh relinquished his rank and reverted to Private. He was transferred to the 24th Battalion. As indicated in the letters home (see below link) he was in France and in the trenches as early as December 1916.
